About me

I’m an excited young artist with a passion for telling stories.
Miriam Hernández Macias
I’m currently a student at ESCIVI (School of Cinema and Video), pursuing a Higher Technician degree in Lighting, Capture, and Processing of Images. I also spent a couple of years studying Fine Arts and Graphic Design, which is where I first discovered my passion for storytelling through visual media. This realization led me to pursue my current studies, with the goal of refining my technical and creative skills in both filmmaking and photography. I thrive in collaborative settings and have worked on numerous team-based projects, where I honed my ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Artistic background
My artistic background has always been eclectic
At a young age I developed a love for painting, drawing, and experimenting, I had to wait a bit longer to hold a camera, but once I did, it quickly became another tool to explore and express my visual world. With a background in Fine Arts and Graphic Design, I bring a blend of artistic sensitivity and visual communication skills—ranging from composition and color theory to layout and typography.

What I do
What I enjoy most is photographing people—capturing their expressions, energy, and the unique stories they carry.
Photography that explores identity, emotion, and style through bold visuals, expressive styling, and intimate composition.
Focused on form, texture, and color—exploring emotion and concept beyond representation.
Capturing the quiet beauty of landscapes, light, and organic detail with a focus on mood and atmosphere.
Moments that highlight texture, light, and composition—capturing everyday people and events that celebrate authenticity, character, and the beauty found in real, unfiltered moments.
